DR CHICHI MENAKAYA

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dr Chichi Menakaya, MB:BS, MRCS (RCSEng), MSc is a United Kingdom experienced and committed Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. Over her fourteen years of experience as a doctor, she has gathered a wealth of experience in different specialties. Her special interest is bone health especially with regards to active aging towards independent elderly living.

Chichi has won awards for her contributions to the growth of Trauma and Orthopaedic research internationally with over 20 cited publications and 30 international presentations. She is a surgical medical student tutor for the University College of London and has served as Honorary Lecturer at Hull and York Medical School, Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

In her spare time, she is a motivational speaker, an advocate for gender based violence and active living.

DR CHINEDU MENAKAYA

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Dr. Chinedu Menakaya, MB;BS is a United Kingdom based medical doctor and a hands-on Vice President with expertise in care of urological pathologies of men and women

Chinedu has a huge interest in community health delivery in rural areas in Sub-Saharan Africa especially Nigeria and started running successful healthcare campaigns as little as when he was 14 years of age. As a leader and self-sufficient innovator, Dr Chinedu is comfortable in any role from the executive boardroom to the floor.

Chinedu obtained his MB;BS from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He loves football and serves on the board of different charities.

DR MARYROSE IBEKWE

MEDICAL SERVICES DIRECTOR

Dr Ibekwe, MB;BS, is a UK trained General Practitioner (GP) and family doctor with special interest in sexual and reproductive health. She comes highly recommended by her patients due to her track record of vast medical knowledge and clinical diagnostic capabilities, complimented by excellent communication skills and problem solving.

MaryRose  started her medical training from Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka, Nigeria. Due to her huge interest in disease prevention in Sub-Sharan Africa, she obtained a master’s degree in Public Health from the renowned Glasgow Caledonian University with primary interest in preventive medicine.

MaryRose is extremely dedicated with a holistic care approach to her patients by ensuring total involvement in the patient’s health journey.

Outside clinical practice, MaryRose enjoys music, travelling and reading.

MR OKECHUKWU ANUMBA

DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY

Mr Anumba is a UK trained pharmacist with special interest polypharmacy management.

With more than 30 years in top management roles in the pharmaceutical industry both in the United Kingdom and Sub Saharan Africa, Okechukwu has been involved in the implementation of innovative and patient centered programs including drug management.

Okechukwu brings a broad scope of experience to SilverCare. He has served as CEO of Trinity Chemists, Nigeria, Pfizer Community Pharmacy COPD Advisory Board  and UK Smoking Cessation Advisor. He received the prestigious award of Community Ambassador Woughton Parish Milton Keynes UK for his contributions in delivery of pharmaceutical services to his local working community.

Okechukwu is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy, Liverpool John Moores University, and he has directed several innovative marketing, product and service positioning strategies as well as management turnarounds of several businesses.

MISS ONAMMA AMUCHEAZI

GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

Experienced professional with over 20 years in the Banking and Finance industry with expertise in Correspondent Banking, Project Finance, International Trade, Structured Finance, Treasury Operations, Capital Raising and Advisory services. An alumni of Imperial College London and Lagos Business School, and an advocate for continuous learning and development in the industry.

Dr Mefoh is a leading Medical Physician with over 6 years clinical experience in the treatment and diagnosing health problems in Sub-Sharan Africa.   He has lead multiple community driven initiatives towards ensuring optimal care in many communities in South Eastern Nigeria.

MR NONSO ANENE

MANAGING DIRECTOR, HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE

Nonso is a young inspirational leader and healthcare administrator with exceptional skills, and has always strived towards excellence and constant growth. With over 10 years experience in healthcare management, he has skills in Leadership and Management from the University of Washington, USA.

He is a Chartered Management Consultant (CMC) from the renowned International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialists (FIMS) and also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC).

Nonso is Nigerian’s National Vice Chair of the Global Youth Assembly (GYA). He also, currently serves as the State Coordinator of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network Anambra – a youth development initiative of the US government.

He is the Founder of the Ribbon Care Foundation through which he has carried out several Community Medical Outreaches; and also the Founder of Olive Sickle Cell Initiative – an NGO focused at attending to people living with Sickle Cell disorder. He also functions as the CEO of Aglow Academy – a skill and talent development institute focused at providing trainings, teachings, consultancy, certification and skill developments to youths.

Professor Melvin D Lobo, Cardiovascular Consultant MBChB PhD FRCP FBHS FESC FACC

Currently ranked as one of UK’s top Cardiovascular Physicians, Professor Melvin Lobo is an experienced professor with specialist interest in blood pressure disorders of all types, autonomic control of the circulation and also resistant hypertension and device-based therapies thereof. He is an accredited Clinical Hypertension Specialist of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and British Hypertension Society.

In addition to hypertension, he is also an acknowledged expert in the management of low blood pressure (hypotension) and BP variability disorders and PoTS (postural tachycardia syndrome). He has the largest cohort of medication intolerant patients nationally and has evolved, published and lectured on specialised strategies with liquid and patch formulations of antihypertensives to get around intolerances to tablets.

He is recognised globally as a key opinion leader in his field and this is reflected in numerous roles in multi-centre clinical trials, invited lectures at major conferences and also as an editor/reviewer of numerous journals including JACC and Lancet. More recently he has authored national and co-authored international guidelines for device therapy of hypertension which were published in the prestigious European Heart Journal.

He organises and co-chairs the UK Annual Symposia on Device Therapy of Hypertension with a distinguished panel of international authorities in hypertension medicine. He is a specialist adviser to NICE and the European Society of Hypertension on interventional therapies in hypertension and a member of the Council on Hypertension of the European Society of Cardiology.

Dr Alexandra- Wu , Consultant Geriatrician, MBBS, FRCP

Consultant Physician Health Service For Elderly People  & Clinical Director, Acute Medicine

SPECIAL INTERESTS:

Dr Wu is a leading UK based Geriatrician with over 20 years clinical experience specialising in diagnosing health problems in elderly people who are often frail and who usually have several medical conditions, each one complicating the others. She is currently Clinical Director of Acute Medicine, Health Services for Elderly People and Respiratory Medicine in London. Part of this role involves working in the medical assessment unit, where she sees over 1,600 elderly patients as emergency admissions each year.

Dr Neal Navani, Consultant in Respiratory Medicine, MA MBBS MSc PhD FRCP

As a general respiratory medicine specialist, Dr Navani can provide diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions. He also offers several specialist techniques.

Dr Neal Navani is one of the most experienced respiratory medicine consultants offering endobronchial ultrasound in Europe. He is widely respected in this area and has done over 3000 procedures since first setting up the service at UCLH in 2007.

Adding to his experienced approach to treating patients with lung cancer, Dr Navani runs a private lung health screening service at The Physicians’ Clinic and at The King Edward VII Hospital in London.

He has also completed an MSc in Clinical Trials and Biostatistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Dr Navani is lead clinician for the lung cancer and interventional bronchoscopy services at UCLH, co-lead of the UK National Lung Cancer Audit and is the respiratory representative on the current NICE lung cancer guideline and quality standards. He also chairs the lung cancer board for North Central and East London Cancer Alliance.

Dr Navani is also an Associate Professor at UCL. He is a co-applicant on >£3m of grant funding and holds a CRUK grant for the early diagnosis of lung cancer. In August 2019, Dr Navani won a prestigious MRC / NIHR fellowship to research novel predictors of cancer in lung nodules.
