DR CHICHI MENAKAYA – GROUP PRESIDENT

Chichi is a United Kingdom experienced and committed Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. She boasts of a vast health care experience and knowledge.

She has extensive experience in concierge healthcare and has ran an award winning UK based medical concierge for over six years.

Her special interest is ensuring that health care is made available to every citizen no matter their tribe, sex or social status. Driven by this goal, she founded Annomo Health Africa to redefine health care to every individual living in Africa.

Chichi has won awards for her contributions to the growth of medical research internationally with over 20 cited publications and 30 international presentations. She has been branded as a transformational leader who brings not just her clinical experience but also her great leadership skills to Annomo Health.

In her spare time, she is a motivational speaker, an advocate for gender based violence and active living.

DR CHINEDU MENAKAYA- GROUP VICE PRESIDENT

Chinedu is a United Kingdom based medical doctor and a hands-on Vice President with expertise in care of urological pathologies of men and women

Chinedu has a huge interest in community health delivery in rural areas in Sub-Saharan Africa especially Nigeria and started running successful healthcare campaigns as little as when he was 14 years of age. As a leader and self-sufficient innovator, Chinedu is comfortable in any role from the executive boardroom to the floor.

Chinedu obtained his MB;BS from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He loves football and serves on the board of different charities.

MRS OBIANUJU IFEBUNANDU – GROUP LEGAL DIRECTOR

LLB (Nigeria), LLM (London)

Obianuju is a commercially savvy consummate corporate lawyer with over a decade experience in law and has successfully led her team on several complex corporate or M&A and capital markets transactions. She has subspecialty experience in Mergers, Demergers, Acquisitions, Reorganisations, Private Equity Investments, Foreign Investments, Securities and Corporate Finance.

She has held high-profile positions throughout her career in corporate and commercial law firm and rose to become Head of Corporate Unit at G.Elias & Co Solicitors, Nigeria, West Africa.

Obianuju earned an LLB in Law from University of Nigeria and LLM in International Business Law from UCL London.

DR FOLUKE FADARE- GROUP DIRECTOR OF MONITORING AND EVALUATION

DVN, MPH

Foluke is the director of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and is also responsible for strategic and operational direction of Annomo Health Africa.

She has over 15 years’ experience spanning the Development Sector, health research, data collection and M&E.

She has worked as an M&E consultant with private and public firms including Oxford Policy Management, The Khana Group, BBC Media Action, Mercy Corps and the British Council.

She currently serves as the Senior Evaluation Advisor for the Sub Saharan Africa Region and responsible for M&E leadership in 18 countries. She is a member of the team that leads on the British Council’s global M&E strategy.

She is highly motivated, dedicated and detail oriented ensuring that project activities are consistently measured against set outcomes designed at project inception and through evidence based and insightful learning, recommending strategies to ensure achievement of indicators on the projects building an efficient, people-focused health care and governance.

She is a graduate of University of Ibadan, Nigeria and is a masters student in University of Liverpool.

Mrs. Obianuju Ifebunandu – Head, Legal Services

Dr Timothy Menakaya, MB;BS, FWACS, OFR

Dr. Timothy Ndubuisi Menakaya, 84 years old, renowned General Practitioner and a former minister of health federal republic of Nigeria. He obtained his medical degree from University the Roma, Rome, Italy. Following graduation, he relocated to the United Kingdom to complete his clinical training in Medicine and Surgery.

As one of pioneering leaders in private healthcare in Nigeria, he has served in the board of different organisations. Alongside his highly successful medical career, he brings an extensive business portfolio to the board which makes Annomo Health Africa lucky to have him as one of our advisors.

He has held the following appointments: Director Equity Bank Nigeria, Chairman of Tempo Mills Limited, Chairman of Tempo Farms Limited, Chairman of Board of Governors Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha, Chairman of Finance Committee of Anglican Diocese on the Niger, National president of Dennis Memorial Grammar School Old Boys Association Onitsha, Board of Governors Iyienu Hospital, Rotary of Blind Students Anambra state and many others.

For his contributions to national growth especially in healthcare and business, he has received many awards including Officer of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Patron of Private and General Medical Practitioners of Nigeria, Patron Active Aging Nigeria, Patron of Anambra State Doctors Association, Anambra Government Merit Award, Merit Award for Excellence and Distinguished Service to the Nigerian Medical Association Anambra state, honoured by rotary international Oka and Enugu and honoured by Oka chambers of commerce, industry, mines and agriculture.

Dr Tim Menakaya is an avid golfer and continues to play five times a week.

Clinical Advisory

Mr. Amechi Obiora, 83 years old, a Specialist Surgeon, is Head of the Division of Surgery (Ekocorp Plc) formally Eko Hospital. He obtained his degree in Medicine from the University College Hospital, Ibadan, in 1964 and after a year’s housemanship, joined the Department of Surgery of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was a Registrar.

During the civil war, he had a wide exposure to surgery and when the war ended, he left the country to specialize in the discipline. In the course of his training, he worked in many notable Teaching Hospitals abroad; Charing Cross, St. Barthlomew’s, St. Mary’s, St. George’s Epson District and St. Thomas’ hospitals and other hospitals in and around London between 1972 and 1977.

While abroad, Dr. Obiora increased his clinical skills in Urology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Oncological Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Chest and Cardiac Surgery, Neuro Surgery as well as General Surgery.

On returning home in 1977, he served in the Burns and Plastic Surgical Unit at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, after which he worked at the Paediatric Surgery unit. He later set up and headed the Trauma Unit of the Hospital.

Dr. Obiora is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, The West African College of Surgeons, Nigerian Post Graduate Medical College, International College of Surgeons and a member of the World Orthopaedic concern.

A keen sportsman with passion in football and athletics. He has huge interest in arts and gardening.

Among his many social interests, he is a member of Ikoyi Club.

HRM Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe (Agbogidi) CFR, MNI - Obi of Onitsha.

Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe 79years old, is a world respected traditional ruler and the 21st Obi of Onitsha, in Anambra State, South-Eastern Nigeria.

He is chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, chancellor of Kogi State University. HRH Obi Achebe also serves as the chairman of the board of Directors of Unilever Nigeria, and the Chairman of International Breweries (ABInBev) Nigeria.

He had a long and distinguished career in the Royal Dutch Shell Group serving as Director in various companies in the group and the prestigious the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru, near Jos.

In corporate life, Obi Achebe was chairman of Diamond Bank PLC and the Universal Insurance PLC and is currently the chairman of Unilever Nigeria PLC, Intafact Beverages Limited (SAB-Miller), and Omak Maritime Limited.

Obi Achebe has a strong passion for health and education as a fundamental factors in national development. He brings this and more to the board of Annomo Health Africa.
